The story of The Green begins with a vision, to create a welcoming space where people can gather, relax and enjoy beautifully prepared food made with care. Rooted in over 30 years of experience in hospitality, The Green is a natural extension of Hel’s Kitchen, known for quality, flavour and a strong commitment to locally sourced ingredients.
Set within a characterful building full of history, The Green has been thoughtfully brought back to life, preserving its charm while creating a warm and inviting café experience.

We are proud to be biker friendly, with a large car park making it easy to pull in, relax and refuel. On warmer days, our beautiful gardens offer the perfect place to sit back and enjoy your food and drink in peaceful surroundings. We are also a dog friendly coffee shop, so your four-legged companions are more than welcome to join you during your visit.
